After staying with Karen and her husband Oggie in San Diego for a while, They decided it was time to find their very own best friend. So we took a trip down to the Helen Woodward Animal Center where we heard there was a very special little pooch waiting for a human to rescue.
Karen had read about little Eddie here online and instantly knew she wanted to meet him.
Eddie has been abandoned by his human family and in ended up getting beat up pretty bad by a much larger dog as he searched for them.
Here, they’re explaining that they would like Eddie to appear on their telethon to share his story with the world. Eddie’s going to be a reality TV star.
As Eddie watched as his new human signed the adoption papers, he could hardly believe that after all these months of recovery and living at the Helen Woodward Animal Center, that he was really about to go to his brand new home.
Eddie was a little nervous about the ride in this doggie crate on wheels, but once inside Karen showed him all about this other special pup and the journey she’s taken her human on on by visiting the website on her shirt. He was suddenly very excited and was hoping to meet me to hear more about it.
As soon as I met Mr. Eddie, named after Eddie Munster, I could tell that he was a special little man and would probably like to see how I take my human on our big adventures.
As soon as he saw the bike he waisted no time claiming the front bucket at his own. “I’m a great navigator” he exclaimed and barked to Karen that she had to try this out.
Once Karen hopped on, it was settled…and so the adventure begins.
